Camden borough-wide additional HMO licensing confirmed for properties with three or more tenants

Camden Council operates a borough-wide additional licensing scheme requiring HMOs with three or more tenants from two or more households to be licensed. The scheme supplements the mandatory HMO licensing regime that applies to properties with five or more occupants.

Camden's additional licensing scheme captures smaller HMOs that fall below the mandatory licensing threshold.

The scheme operates alongside the mandatory HMO licensing regime and any selective licensing designations.
