Harrow Council approves six new selective licensing areas for phased rollout in 2026

Harrow Council has approved six new selective licensing designations to be rolled out across 2026, covering the wards of Edgeware, Roxeth, Greenhill, Marlborough, Wealdstone North, and Wealdstone South. The schemes are being introduced in stages between May and September 2026.

Six new designations were made on 2 February 2026 with a staged implementation timeline. The council has not yet widely promoted the new schemes.

With the Renters' Rights Act increasing maximum civil penalties to £40,000 and rent repayment orders to two years, compliance is critical.
