Property Portal: Landlord Registration Beta

The government launched the beta phase of the Private Rented Sector Property Portal in December 2025. Landlords are invited to register in advance of mandatory registration requirements taking effect.

The Private Rented Sector Property Portal entered its beta phase in December 2025, with landlords invited to register their details and property portfolios ahead of mandatory registration requirements taking effect.

Registration requires landlords to provide their name and contact details, the addresses of all rental properties, and confirmation of compliance with key obligations including gas safety, electrical safety, and EPC requirements.

Full mandatory registration will be brought into force by a separate commencement order. Early registration is recommended.

Register on the Property Portal during the beta phase. Ensure your property records and compliance documentation are up to date before registration.
