All private landlords in Northern Ireland must register with the Landlord Registration Scheme

All landlords letting privately in Northern Ireland are legally required to register with the Department for Communities Landlord Registration Scheme. Registration must be renewed every three years. Letting without registration is a criminal offence carrying a fine of up to £2,500.
